Last week I ran a workshop on how to promote events for sporting codes and clubs in the Australian Capital Territory.
This attending were planning events ranging from Australia's national fencing championships to the upcoming launch of a hot air balloon by a major service organisation.
The conversation was lively partly because we all agreed events play an important part in the life of most not for profits. In any given year the calendar for most community groups will feature at least one event.
This podcast describes the essentials of planning with a focus on creating innovative events that set your organisation apart and capture attention.
